Luke Evans Thirst-Traps (And Meets a Scorpion)

Luke Evans shared a number of hot IGs this past weekend, along with sharing a scary experience. The 41-year-old hunk "was left terrified on Friday night as he found a scorpion on the wall of his bathroom in Colombia," reports the Daily Mail.

The out superstar is in that South American country filming "Echo 3," a new action series for Apple TV+. It follows what happens when a female American scientist goes missing at the Colombia-Venezuela border. Evans plays her brother, who joins the woman's husband in the search for her.


He shared the video on IG as he zoomed in on the arachnid, captioning the reel: "I found it a new home...." He was wearing a khaki green T-shirt and sported stubble while "Jungle life" and "In my bathroom!!!!" were written at the bottom of the reel.

He also shared a number of hot IGs of his ongoing workout progress. In one he is on a swing over some water with the caption, "Just before I fell in......" followed by some water emojis.

He posted two more thirst-traps on his Highlight reel. In one he has a hipster look wearing a hat and sunglasses while lounging in the sun. In the second, a black-and-white snap, he wears camouflage pants while taking a selfie in a gym, his chiseled physique in full view.

Next for Evans is the television prequel to "Beauty and the Beast," in which he stars with Josh Gad and Briana Middleton. The eight-episode. Disney+ series was "developed and written by Gad and 'Once Upon a Time' creators Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz, with the trio serving as executive producers/co-showrunners. Tony Award-nominated director Liesl Tommy ('Respect,' 'Eclipsed') executive produces and directs the pilot," writes Deadline.

"Set in the iconic kingdom of 'Beauty and the Beast' years before the Beast and Belle's epic romance, the series will follow Gaston (Evans) and LeFou (Gad) as they set off with LeFou's step-sister, Tilly (Middleton), after a surprising revelation from her past comes to light, sending the unlikely trio off on an unexpected journey filled with romance, comedy, and adventure," adds Deadline. "While the mysteries of the past are uncovered and the dangers of the present grow, old friends and new enemies reveal that this familiar kingdom harbors many secrets."


And joining the cast is Fra Fee, will play Prince Benoit Berlioz, a childhood friend of Tilly's who has grown into a handsome, charismatic, confident prince. Fee was most recently seen in the role of Kazi Kazimierczak in the Marvel-Disney+ series "Hawkeye." His other credits include Acorn TV series "Dalgliesh," live-action film "Cinderella," "Les Misérables," "Pixie," and "Animals."
