PARIS, France - The vibrant Parisian shopping destination, recently lauded for having one of the largest shoe departments in the world, just opened a new branch of the famous Paris tea room, restaurant, and boutique, Angelina.

The first Angelina tea room opened in the Tuileries Gardens in 1903, and has over the years attracted such visitors as Coco Chanel and Marcel Proust.

Now, shoppers can take a break while enjoying a cup of Angelina's world-famous hot chocolate L'Africain, paired with their signature Mont-Blanc pastry, whose recipe has remained secret after 100 years.

Galeries Lafayette, with its unique architecture graced by a neo-byzantine dome, welcomes customers to an exceptional world of shopping.

Located in the heart of Paris next to the opera house, the flagship store, spanning 70.000m, offers over 3,500 brands, from affordable styles to the most high-end trends.

This year at Galeries Lafayette will also mark 100 years since the main store's outstanding dome was created. They will celebrate this occassion with renovations and continual improvements to the store in 2012.
