The following is a press release from EDGE OUTreach partner New York City Pride

NYC Pride | Heritage of Pride  is accepting applications for 2026 funding through its  “Pride Gives Back”  program. “Pride Gives Back” awards grants to local nonprofits and community organizations that provide essential support, services and programming for LGBTQIA+ populations in the New York City tri-state area.

“Pride has always been rooted in community,” said NYC Pride Executive Director Im Lynde. “We’re proud to offer support to our partners working every day to serve and empower our local LGBTQIA+ community.”

“Pride Gives Back” projects focus on creating new events or programs, expanding or innovating existing services, and improving access to local resources among marginalized LGBTQIA+ populations. Projects can also support public policy, advocacy, and social justice initiatives.

This year, “Pride Gives Back” is seeking applicants serving trans and GNB/GNC individuals, youth and elder populations, and marginalized LGBTQIA+ groups, including LatinX, BIPOC, food- and housing-insecure, and immigrant populations.

“NYC Pride is honored to uplift innovative, inclusive initiatives that are making a tangible difference in the lives of the most marginalized LGBTQIA+ New Yorkers,” added NYC Pride Community Relations Director Dee Chen.

2026 “Pride Gives Back” applications are due February 1, 2026 by 11:59 p.m. ET. Grantees will be notified in March 2026. To learn more about applying, read the  grant info sheet . Prospective applicants can also  register to attend  our  “Pride Gives Back” application webinar  on January 13, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. ET, where they will have the opportunity to learn more and ask questions about the program and application process.
