Philadelphia FIGHT will present its 25th Anniversary Gala on Thursday, December 3, 2015 from 6:00 to 10:00 PM at Loews Philadelphia Downtown Hotel, 1200 Market Street. The event will feature cocktails, dinner, dancing, and a silent auction in the Millennium Ballroom, plus an exclusive VIP Cocktail Reception featuring Greg Louganis and panoramic city views on Loews' 33rd Floor.
Olympic Gold Medalist and HIV activist and educator Greg Louganis will be honored for his lifelong commitment to HIV/AIDS. Now a leading HIV and LGBT activist and best-selling author, Louganis speaks out on the obstacles he has overcome with a warmth and grace that embody the Olympic spirit.
The theme for FIGHT's 25th Anniversary Gala is 25 & Still FIGHTing! Founded in 1990 as a small HIV research project, FIGHT is now the largest and most comprehensive AIDS Service Organization in Philadelphia. This year's Gala celebrates FIGHT's twenty-five years of providing vital programs and services to members of the community who need them most.
Individual ticket prices are as follows: General Tickets: $175; VIP Tickets: $250.
For tickets or more information, visit www.fight.org/gala.
Proceeds from the 25th Anniversary Gala will support FIGHT's HIV primary medical care at the Jonathan Lax Treatment Center and primary care for youth and adults at very high risk of acquiring HIV at the Y-HEP (Youth Health Empowerment Project) and John Bell Health Centers. The Lax Center provides compassionate, comprehensive, integrated medical care and services to its growing patient base of over 2,000 people living with HIV/AIDS regardless of their insurance status or ability to pay.
