Watch 'Broke Hoe' Milo Yiannopoulos Toss his $150,000 'Sodomy Stone' Into the Pacific

The Alt-right's favorite gay (now ex-gay) Milo Yiannopoulos posted a video to YouTube of one of his steps to de-sodomize himself. In it, he explains how he spent nearly $150,000 on an engagement ring and decided to toss the bauble into the Pacific.

He called the ring a "Sodomy Stone" "That's the name I've given to the gigantic engagement ring I bought myself as part of a union that I now regard as somewhat infernal," he explained. "I have been thinking a lot lately about what's real and what's not real in my life, and thinking about the trappings of my former life that would be a good idea to get rid of."

He continued: "The more I looked at this gigantic, four-karat money pit, the more I thought this is a perfect example of some of the lies I bought into in my previous life. For instance the lie that I could be a raging culture warrior for the right and a sodomite at the same time. I can't."

That wasn't his first choice. That was, inspired by Tolkein, was to fly over a volcano and toss the ring into it. But it would have cost him thousands to hire a helicopter to make it happen, so he passed. Instead, he says, "Every once in a while, the Lord sends you a sign. And He did."

The sign was for him to hire a boat, head out into the Pacific and toss the "Sodomy Stone" into the deep to the strains of Celine Dion's "My Heart Will Go On."But not before emphasizing that the rock was very expensive by finding a website with the supposed cost of the stone ($147,758) and flashing it for the viewers to see. He then sits sadly, imbibing vodka and smoking cigarettes as he contemplates his expensive plan to desodomize himself.

When he does toss the ring, the camera cuts away to show the ocean, then an emotional Yiannopoulos, who appeared to break down saying, "It's for the best." The video ends with the image of an open suitcase with a Holy Bible on top.

Spending that much on a ring brought to mind a 2018 Vox report that said Yiannopoulos was $2-million in debt. "They say I owe $2m. I don't! It's at least $4m. Do you know how successful you have to be to owe that kind of money?" he said with a glass-half-filled attitude. At the time, he made a FB post with of pic showing him a T-shirt with the words "Broke Hoe" in big, bold letters.

This past March, Yiannopoulos announced he was an ex-gay, EDGE reported. "The 36-year-old ex-friend of Dorothy said: "Of course, I was never wholly at home in the gay lifestyle. Who is? Who could be... I only leaned heavily into it in public because it drove liberals crazy to see a handsome, charismatic, intelligent gay man riotously celebrating conservative principles."

He continued: "I've always thought of myself as a Jack Bauer sort of figure – the guy who does the hideous, inexcusable things no one else can stomach, without which the Republic will fall. I know that means my name will always be cursed, and I'll always be a scorned outsider, so the temptation is to throw out any consideration of living well or truthfully. But even Jack Bauer has to confront his maker sooner or later."

He says that he will always have a gay itch but isn't going to scratch it. "I treat it like an addiction. You never stop being an alcoholic."
