Omar Apollo has officially come out as a "zaddy," and he is baring all that and more in his album "God Said No," out June 28.

In a new behind-the-scenes interview posted to his YouTube page, Apollo, alongside producer Ted Halm, talks about the album making process, maturity, and coming into his "zaddy" era.

"I feel like a zaddy," Apollo shared recently to the Grammys, adding, "because I'm 6'5" so, like, you can run up in my arms and stay there, you know what I mean?"

We can only imagine!

Apollo's "zaddyhood" aside, the behind-the-scenes video shows how giddy the "3 Boys" singer gets during the creative process. At the beginning of the clip, Apollo explains the message behind "God Said No" and talks about the meanings of other songs from the album, such as its lead single, "Spite," which examines a relationship breakup.

Then there is "Dispose of Me," the second single from the album, which finds Apollo feeling heartsick over seemingly being tossed aside.

"It don't matter if it's 25 years, 25 months / It don't matter if it's 25 days, it was real love," Apollo sings on the song. "We got too much history / So don't just dispose of me."

On "Life's Unfair," the singer claims that he "would've married you."

Of course, there are more than a few surprises from Apollo's upcoming album that we are still waiting to process, such as the track reportedly featuring everyone's favorite TV "zaddy" Pedro Pascal, which is titularly titled "Pedro."

Halm, Apollo's trusted co-writer and producer, has teamed up with him on the Grammy-nominated "Evergreen," and they bring that same magic into "God Said No." Halm is equally excited about what they are creating in the video, and he confirms in an interview with the Grammys that Apollo is indeed a "zaddy."

"Don't get it twisted, he's zaddy, for sure," he said.

But don't take his word for it. Listen for yourself below. Apollo's "God Said No" is available on all major streaming platforms.
