EDGE Interview: Marc LaSalle, Just a Normal Business Owner with a JustFor.Fans Page

When Marc LaSalle moved from the Pacific Northwest to Tacoma, Washington when he was six, he didn't know his life would become a series of geographical and personal journeys.

LaSalle is an adult content creator with a JustFor.Fans page. His history in the business goes back to 2006 when he starred in an adult film for Stallion Studios. Eleven movies later, not only had he built an impressive catalog, but he also found a new understanding of his own self-expression.

He had a normal childhood, living in Tacoma surrounded by close relatives. He attended junior high and high school in the area, but his higher educational pursuits came later.

"I didn't take the conventional university route," he says. "I later returned to school to earn an associate's degree and pursued a successful career in esthetics – something that aligns with my strengths and passions."

Before planting roots in Washington D.C. in 2011, where he lives now, LaSalle spent time in Seattle, Las Vegas, and St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Each destination an enriching experience making him the determined and confident man he is today. "I turned 55 last October."

The great thing about making independent content is that age doesn't matter. In the mainstream industry, there's a glass ceiling; take a look at any adult site, and you probably won't see anyone over the age of 25 on the homepage. It's business, but what does it say about society?

LaSalle is still relatively young and wants to make adult content. But if the market is primarily geared to feature men half his age, there isn't room for him in the mainstream. Enter JustFor.Fans. Not only does it allow creators from all walks of life to express themselves in countless ways, they have total control over their content.

Time after time when asked why adult creators use JustFor.Fans they say it's because the site is so user-friendly. It might read like an advertisement when they sing its praises, but when you hear it enough times it's hard not to believe.

"It truly connects me with people who share my interests," says LaSalle. "Unlike other fan sites that feel more like a blend of home and garden with some nudity, JustFor.Fans allows me to express my exhibitionist side fully and confidently."

It's a side he says is natural to him. The toughest part is the preparation: Intense workouts, "regimented diet, keeping the body fully in check, and the cleanse."

Looking back, he gives a lot of credit to his early days at Stallion in San Francisco. It's the place where he found and embraced his sexuality. His wasn't fetish-shamed there; in fact, his tastes were celebrated. He didn't have to hide anymore.

"Having such a supportive studio made a huge difference for my confidence and visibility, even though those can sometimes be tricky areas," Lasalle says. "The guys in the industry were so welcoming, and it really felt like a brotherhood."

It's something he says he would do again, especially if it meant the post-production duties were handled by professionals.

For now, he is building upon his JustFor.Fans brand. He feels it's tough to stand out among his peers but he's working on it. He's recently divorced, but LaSalle says the breakup came with some inspiration.

"Towards the end of my relationship, I rediscovered my old toy collection and started creating solo videos in a natural, uncut style. I launched my account using years of archived footage while refining my content. It almost feels like a second job, but I enjoy it on top of running my business." He adds that he likes trying out larger toys and showcasing his pumping skills. He's also exploring collaborations in other areas.

He explains exactly what pumping is. "Without being overly detailed, penis and testicle pumping can be compared to penile exercises (PE). These practices help achieve temporary increases in girth and length."

LaSalle is proud of everything he does. From his successful business in D.C. called Browbeat Beauty Esthetics to his JustFor.Fans page, everything is running pretty smoothly.

And if you see him, don't be afraid to say hello. "I'm shy at first, so don't be too timid to approach me," he says, adding that he is pretty easygoing and super professional. "I offer a friend's discount for grooming services, and am always on the lookout for pump buddies."
